Freelance Strategist with Product Experience in the payments space at endava

We’re building a small, senior team for a 12-week programme starting early May with a payments client.

This is about getting the client operationally ready to launch and support a product.

We need two people who understand that deeply:

Programme Lead Own and lead the programme end-to-end Primary client lead, working directly with C-suite stakeholders Set direction, challenge thinking, and drive decisions

This is hands-on:

• Shape the work, not just manage it
• Create key deliverables where needed
• Bring a clear view on what good looks like

Strategist (Operations)

• Understand how payments products actually run (onboarding, servicing, controls, partner management)
• Translate product intent into workable operations
• Balance operating model thinking with day-to-day realities

What matters for both roles Deep, hands-on experience in payments (non-negotiable) Strong product thinking: trade-offs, sequencing, commercial impact Clear understanding of operations and delivery Comfortable working in complex, senior environments

This is not slideware - the work will directly shape decisions and execution.
