Role Purpose

We are looking for a heavyweight Senior Strategist to join Twin for a 20-week sprint, with opportunity to turn into a FT position. This role will lead a critical component of a significant marketing transformation project for Rolex. The mandate is audacious: To reinvent how the world interacts with Rolex. This is a rare chance to touch one of the world’s most significant brands at a moment of pivotal change. Our brief is to move beyond traditional brand campaign cycles; shifting Rolex from a broadcast-led brand to a digital-first ecosystem. Rethinking the role of owned channels, paid media, retail, & partnerships. You will help write the blueprint for this future. 

Core Responsibilities

You will be Twin’s lead within a multi-agency strategy team contributing to the wider vision and number of other connected workstreams but holding specific autonomy and ownership over three critical workstreams:

  1. A Digital Ecosystem for the Future: You will define the strategy for Digital Touchpoints, placing a reimagined, authoritative Rolex.com at the center.
    1. Key Challenge: How do search, AI-driven discovery, and social platforms flow seamlessly into a re-imagined owned Rolex experience?
  2. Redefining the Advertising Model: Rolex is iconic. You will develop the strategy for Comms & Media Impact, transitioning paid media from the “main event” to a “gateway.”
    1. Key Challenge: How do we use campaigns as “trailers” that build desire and drive audiences into our owned ecosystem, rather than just delivering reach?
  3. Transforming the Creative Engine: You will lead the strategy for Content & Creation, shifting the brand’s production model from “Campaign-First” to “Digital-Experience First.”
    1. Key Challenge: How do we build a creative model where digital experiences are the primary source of brand expression, and assets are syndicated out to media and retail?

Who You Are

You are a senior-level strategist (10+ years) with deep experience in driving complex marketing transformation and defining modern comms ecosystems, ideally bringing specific fluency in SGE and AI discovery. Crucially, you can couple this expertise with a deep appreciation for the unique physics of Luxury marketing—understanding how to modernise the experience without compromising the aura of exclusivity and desire.

  • A Systems Thinker: You don’t just plan ads; you plan ecosystems. You understand how a sponsorship, a website, a banner, a retail screen, and a Google search result connect to form a cohesive brand narrative.
  • A Modern Brand Builder: You are fluent in the principles of Mental Availability and Distinctiveness but know how to apply them in an era of algorithms and AI.
  • A “Gateway” Architect: You understand the difference between interrupting an audience and inviting them in. You can strategise for “Brand Love” in a logged-in, personalised world.
  • Collaborative & Autonomous: You will be working alongside leads on Retail, Technology, and Ownership briefs. You need to be able to hold your own in a debate, synthesise complex inputs, and produce C-Suite ready strategic outputs.
