A heritage global professional beauty brand is re-launching and re-positioning itself to attract a younger & more creative target consumer.
As part of this they require a global media strategy & plan that :-
- Drives awareness amongst it’s new target consumer as quickly and effectively as possible (focus is North America, UK & Germany)
- Brings to life the brands new proposition
- Has a vision for the next 5 years and a roadmap to achieve it
- Clear targets split by year across key metrics
- Explores different “angles” and approaches with a performance vs investment thesis for each
- Clarifies the role of earned/owned/paid channels
- Outlines investment priorities within it’s portfolio of products
- Takes into account an existing fragmented media approach & spend by market
- Takes into consideration an existing performance e-commerce strategy & set of investments
- Global media playbook for global/regional/local market implementation
- Takes into account the competition, what works & what doesn’t
- Embraces modern media marketing, explores unconventional/unexpected solutions
- Has a pragmatic approach for 2026 with full strategic implementation occurring from 2027 onwards
The Candidate
- Proven experience in global media strategy development for modern mainstream beauty brands
- Ideally with professional beauty experience (haircare, skincare, nailcare) - but not mandatory
- Experienced strategist comfortable with presenting to CMO/CEO level executives
- Up to date understanding of the global media landscape with particular interest in and knowledge of relevant celebrity ambassadors, micro & macro influencers, media partnerships & branded content development partners.
- Youtube, Instagram as primary channels, TikTok to be explored/discussed
- Fluent english speaker and writer
- Enough knowledge of the current market media rates to be able to provide ballpark investment recommendations
- Logical & strategic in their thinking, magical & creative in their approach and delivery.
Rate: 1000 euros per day
